Being a Woman

Hey !
Je viens de passer un week-end entre filles avec ma meilleure amie et de redécouvrir ce que c'est d'être une fille... enfin, une femme ! Les miroirs de l'appartement n'ont jamais autant servi, et si les murs ont des oreilles, ils ont dû en avoir marre de nous entendre parler sans arrêt !
On a parlé, ri, marché, photographié, admiré, visité, dansé, esquivé...
Je ne pense pas qu'un article suffise à tout vous montrer/raconter, mais voici le début !
I just spent a girls weekend with my best friend and I rediscovered what it was to be a girl... I mean, a woman ! The mirrors in the apartment had never been used so much, and if walls do have ears, thay must have been sick and tired of hearing us talk constantly !
We talked, laughed, walked, photographed, admired, visited, danced, avoided...
I don't think one post will be enough to show/tell you everything, but here is the beginning !

On s'est baladées et perdues quelques fois dans la ville...

We strolled about and almost got lost in the city...

J'ai admiré cette jolie petite voiture...

I admired this cute little car...

On a rencontré un charmant jeune Anglais près de cet endroit...

We met a cute and young British man near this place...

On a visité un musée... Au fait, cette statue représente la douleur, on l'avait confondue avec la honte.

We went to a museum... This statue represents pain BTW, we had confused it with shame.

J'ai pris cette photo pour mon père, qui aime beaucoup les cerfs.

I took this picture for my father who likes stags a lot.

On a fait un tour à Fondcombe (je plaisante, mais Lou trouve que ça y ressemble !)

We went to see a bit of Rivendell (I'm kidding, but Lou thinks it looks like it !)

Lou s'est fait draguer par un clown près de cet endroit !

Lou was hit on by a clown near this place !

Et pour finir, nous sommes allées dans le magnifique Square Darcy (je viens de lire une suite d'Orgueil et Préjugés, ça ne pouvait pas mieux tomber !)

And to finish the day, we went to the beautiful Square Darcy (I just read a sequel of Pride and Prejudice, so convenient !)

Frappé à la vanille et frappé au nutella, miam !

Et c'est tout pour samedi !

And that's it for Saturday ! 

PS : désolée pour cette longue absence, encore (presque un mois !) mais l'inspiration n'était pas là. Depuis mon dernier article, qui était plutôt personnel, j'ai ressenti une sorte de blocage, peut-être une sorte de déception. Mais je m'en remettrai !

PS : sorry for my long absence, again (nearly a month !) but inspiration was lacking. Since my last post, which was rather personal, I felt blocked in a way, maybe disappointed a bit. But I'll get over it !
